This is a double exposure done in camera.

I switched my camera settings onto double exposure. I took a photograph of this tree, then for my second shot, I took a photograph of the stony ground I was standing on. I liked the textured effect this gave without having to add a texture in photoshop later.

It turned out to be quite an arty image without actually doing any fiddling and diddling to make it so.
