I adore bumble bees! They are so big and cumbersome, like little flying sherman tanks! Their fluffy bottoms are just so cute!

Photographing insects in the middle of the day can be a challenge when they are so active. Easier to take them in the cooler hours, but this little guy was very accommodating by sitting still long enough for me to get a lovely shot. A shallow depth of field is really the only way to go when photographing bugs.
