Owning the Unapologetic Path: Fantasy, Gothic, and Finally… Me

There comes a point where half-measures just don’t cut it. I’ve spent too long making pieces that try to appeal to everyone, smoothing the edges, taming the vibe. Straddling the line between what I love and what I thought might sell. Leaning into more mainstream looks because I was afraid of how the fully unapologetic version of me would be received. Afraid of being ‘too much’, ‘too odd’, or simply misunderstood.

But I’m done with that.

From here on, I’m walking straight into the world that actually feels like mine. A world where fantasy and gothic aesthetics sit side by side. Where magic, darkness, beauty, myth, shadow and sparkle all get a seat at the table. Where a touch of fae mischief can live right next to something ancient and haunting, and neither needs to justify itself. If that means making a gothic princess crown one day, a raven-winged relic the next, or a fae-touched fantasy piece dripping in otherworldly charm, so be it. They all come from the same place: truth. And I’m finally letting that truth lead.

This isn’t just a visual shift. It’s a deeper one. I’m not playing it safe anymore, not softening the tone just to fit into neat boxes. I’ve always been a bit offbeat. A bit intense. A bit… elsewhere. And instead of treating that like something to dial down, I’m choosing to celebrate it. My work will be adventurous. Quirky. Dark in places, light in others. Sometimes ethereal, sometimes bold. Fantasy doesn’t mean frilly, and gothic doesn’t mean grim. If I want to make something that looks like it belongs in the fae courts or a vampire ball, I will, and I’ll do it without apology.

As part of this shift, my shop is getting a full purge. I’ll be razing old stock category by category, clearing out the pieces that no longer speak for where I’m going. You’ll see flash sales, clearance bargains, and chances to grab one-offs from the more mainstream past, because they still have value, even if they’re no longer the direction. But after that, the vibe will be unified, deliberate, and fully mine. This is not a rebrand. It’s an unmasking.

This is me, stepping fully into the creative space I was meant to occupy. I won’t always get it perfect, but I’ll get it honest. And that’s what matters.
